Biography:
Hilda Goold is a multidisciplinary artist based in Cork, Ireland. Her practice involves drawing, collage and photography. Her work was selected for exhibitions at the LHQ Gallery (Cork), the Lavit Gallery (Cork), the Hunt Museum (Limerick), the RHA Gallery (Dublin) and The Centre for Fine Art Photography (Colorado, USA) among others. She was awarded residencies by Ayuntamiento de Cádiz (Cádiz City Council, Spain) and the Cill Rialaig Project (Kerry). Hilda is a member of Visual Artists Ireland and Backwater Artists Network.

We live like sleepwalkers and dream as passengers to other worlds - the sleeper dreams, the dreamer wakes into a different power, folding future into past and landscapes into little rooms, all hung with strange and half-remembered pictures, each of which conceals a secret door -
